MIGHTY MEN CONFERENCE | 27 – 29 MARCH 2026
Now in its 8th year, the Mighty Men Conference Jeffreys Bay is one of South Africa’s largest annual Christian men’s gatherings. Hosted in the scenic countryside just outside Jeffreys Bay, this powerful 3-day event draws thousands of men from across the country to worship, reflect, and grow together.
The weekend features inspiring guest speaker sessions, each preceded by praise and worship, all set in a family-friendly, outdoor atmosphere. The vision of Kunskoors is to enhance the quality of life for the people of Jeffreys Bay by offering access to exceptional music, literature, theater, and visual arts. They aim to elevate the voices of our talented artists, ensuring they are celebrated and compensated fairly for their contributions to society.
As a festival, Kunskoors is also about growth—both for individuals and for the community. By involving small businesses, local venues, and engaging the youth, we aim to expand Jeffreys Bay’s identity beyond just a surf town, fostering an environment where creativity thrives and the local economy flourishes.
Kunskoors is more than just an event; it’s an opportunity for the people of Jeffreys Bay to come together, experience the magic of the arts, and build lasting memories.
The theatre program is a celebration of storytelling and the power of performance to connect, inspire, and challenge. ALOE CUP | 25 – 27 JUNE 2026
The Eastern Cape’s favourite primary school rugby festival is growing!
We are excited to announce the launch of the brand-new School Alert Cup Division at the 2026 Aloe Pick n Pay Jeffreys Bay Aloe Cup, proudly hosted by Jeffreys Bay Primary School in partnership with Paarl Gimnasium.
This division is specially created for strong primary school rugby teams looking for top-class competition in the middle of the winter season.

WSL SURFING J-BAY OPEN | 10 – 20 JULY 2026
Every July, the world’s best surfers descend on the legendary waves of Jeffreys Bay for the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour. Supertubes, one of the most iconic right-hand point breaks on the planet, delivers powerful, consistent surf that makes this event a highlight on the international calendar.
Expect 10 days of high-performance surfing, beach vibes, and a vibrant festival atmosphere that takes over the town. Whether you’re a die-hard surf fan or just love a good beach celebration, the J-Bay Open offers something unforgettable.

But it’s not just about the pros. The entire town comes alive with J-Bay Surf Festival — a 10-day celebration that runs alongside the WSL event, offering something for everyone. Expect the Park Off Music Festival, Comedy Nights, a Fan Park, Mountain Biking, Jiu Jitsu, Funduro, Fishing and Touchies! Events may be added or changed year on year, however it’s always a blast with a laid-back coastal vibe that captures the soul of Jeffreys Bay.

J-BAY SKINS FISHING COMPETITION | JULY 2026
Every winter, anglers from across South Africa gather on the shores of Jeffreys Bay for one of the most exciting and rewarding surf fishing events on the calendar — the J-BAY SKINS FISHING COMPETITION.
Established in 2013 as part of the J-Bay Winter Surf Festival, this unique competition introduced the “skins” format — an hourly challenge from Dolphin Beach to Kabeljous Lagoon where shore-anglers compete for top catches and serious cash prizes.
Over the years, the event has grown from R6,000 in prize money to a 2025 record-breaking prize haul of over R300,000, including high-end gear, luxury charters, and sponsored experiences. With categories for juniors, ladies, and various species (like Musselcracker and Kob), it’s a celebration of both competition and community.

The happiest, milkiest, family-friendliest festival in the Eastern Cape is back!
Get ready for two full days of farm fun, delicious food, live music, kiddies’ entertainment, tractor rides, and everything that makes the Nova Melkfees the highlight of the year.
Bring the whole family, wear your takkies (and maybe a cow-print shirt), and come celebrate the joy of dairy in true Kouga style!
