Ferreira Post Distilleries, in Jeffrey Street, is a micro rum distillery of distinction situated in the heart of the old Jeffreys Bay. They pride themselves in making a beautiful rum, enjoyable neat or combined with your favourite mixer. The rum is made from scratch right on their premises, which means visitors get a full flavoured experience when they visit the micro rum distillery.
Their establishment caters to those people looking for a classy place to enjoy a lovely drink with friends, or while making new friends. The beautiful, ambience of the bar area ensures you can leave your stress at the door and relax while the competent barman pours you the rum of your choice, the way you like it.

So come, dare to be different and challenge yourself with a rum tasting experience at Ferreira Post Distillers. This is by far not a “trashy, noisy bar filled with pirates”, but an ideal venue to wind down for an hour or more after a busy day / week at the office.
Feel like you’d like to “kuier”? The outside braai area is perfect for “braaiing” your own meat and chilling with friends.
Future plans of the distillery include creating an exclusive Rum Club, the members of whom will have the opportunity to buy a cask of rum and leaving it to mature, with taste tests provided to evaluate maturity. They will also look at expanding their range of spirits, should the rum prove to be the success they believe it will become. Ferreira Post Distilleries was created to provide a sophisticated destination for social gatherings.
